Another foray into the world of vectors and gradients, which some of you may recognize –once again– as a spiffed up version of an earlier illustration. This entire project took me considerably longer than I expected due to all the finicky vector details, but  I’m delighted to finally be able to show it as a portfolio piece. The shadows came out looking excellent, and the sense of three dimensions is far more obvious than in many examples of this medium. For reference, the original illustration is below. A handsome piece in its own right, but also an excellent template for vector illustration.
