Glamour with Colors

I dug this lovely face out of my drawer of past projects. Pieces like this always remind me of the beauty of shapes and colors, in addition to just lines. Its a style worth perfecting . . .

Trains as an analogy . . .

An visual analogy I created to illustrate my impression of male/female dimorphism. One is clunky and noisy, with exposed moving parts and an emphasis on utility . . . The other has all of this elegantly contained beneath a streamlined outer casing.

How I felt biting into a crepe sandwich at the Hawthorne food carts last night– note the actual food stain under his toe on the right. Although it could have used a little more salt, it was still a very scrumptious crepe sandwich.

A late night, current events, my usual art supplies plus a Very Large red sharpie and a Very Large (almost dry) black sharpie, and a piece of brown card stock. Behold, something a little darker than my usual fluffy goodness. At the moment I’m trying to get a bit more experience with expressing a feeling, rather than just line technique . . . .
