Imogen, my first foray into the work of pinup illustration, never seemed quite finished. At the time I was trying to go for a more minimalist, line-oriented piece, but I found the other night that adding a little bit of color made a world of difference. Sparkley stars also helped.

I was inspired the other day by another artist who presented redwood trees in this wonderful, bold, minimal style. I had a to give it a go myself.

A return to ink wash. Alas, I still haven’t figure out how to prevent the paper from buckling.

A late-night sketch of analog gauges. That is all.
