From time to time, I misplace my regular art supplies, and have to make do with whatever’s on hand. In this case, all I had to work with were my alcohol-based markers and various sharpies.

Sketch Update
The Fairer Sex

Hell hath no fury . . .

Another old sketch of mine.
Miscellaneous sketches
A whole load of sketches that I haven’t got around to posting until now.

Untitled Genie

I didn’t intend to draw a genie, but he turned into one after I felt too lazy to give him legs. I don’t really have a story to go with him at this point.
The Governor-General

Here’s a Governor-General.
Not any particular one, just a random one all decked out in his finest Court uniform and cocked hat with plumes, looking just as splendid as a viceregal representative ought to. No more explanation is necessary, I think. . .
I used a white marker for the elaborate embroidery, although I think a dip pen and my trusty white india ink would have served me better.
The Dolphin

A sketch from awhile back of a stylized heraldic dolphin. You can probably see that it has more in common with the Dolphinfish, or Mahi-Mahi, than with the normal variety. Naturally, I love the serpentine shape.
Coffee shop faces

I spent a good couple hours sketching in a coffee shop on Hawthorne. It was one of those days when the lines just flow out of your pencil with seemingly no effort at all. Definitely could use more days like that!
