Drawing this sort of decoration is actually surprisingly difficult; a strong sense of flow, hierarchy, and proportion is essential to avoiding a confused mass of curls.
Beautiful! I especially like the tiny dots that finish the very fine lines. Is this an architectural ornament? There’s something about it that’s reminiscent of carved acanthus leaves.
